Content & Acceptable Use Policy
Version 2.0 · Last updated 14 October 2026 · Effective from the date of publication on aikaya.net
This Policy is part of the Terms & Conditions (Part A §4.3) between you and Tenchi DWC-LLC, the operator of Aikaya. It applies to all Content, titles, descriptions, thumbnails, sales pages, captions and messages on Aikaya.
1. The governing rule
1.1 Aikaya sells pre-recorded classes and courses, not treatment. Describe what a class is and who it is for — never what it will do to the person watching.
1.2 Say what the product is: "recorded", "on-demand", "pre-recorded course", "guided session", "taught by", "designed for", "traditionally used for".
1.3 Aikaya is software for publishing and selling pre-recorded classes and courses. Creators do not sell services through Aikaya: no live or one-to-one sessions, no coaching calls, consulting or advisory services delivered to a person, and no personal readings or plans.
2. Claims that are not allowed
2.1 Creators must not state or imply that Content:
- (a) cures, treats, heals, prevents or diagnoses any disease, disorder or medical or psychological condition;
- (b) replaces, or is better than, therapy, medication or care from a health professional;
- (c) is "clinically", "medically" or "scientifically" proven, unless the Creator can produce the evidence on request and the claim is lawful;
- (d) guarantees any result;
- (e) will produce income or earnings, or any "financial freedom" or "passive income" outcome;
- (f) helps anyone lose weight, diet or build muscle (see 3.3a), or promotes unhealthy weight-management practices.
2.2 Creators must not use protected professional titles they do not lawfully hold (for example psychotherapist, psychologist, counsellor, dietitian, physiotherapist), or present themselves as providing health-care services on Aikaya.
2.3 Testimonials and before-and-after stories must not be used to make, by implication, a claim that 2.1 prohibits.
3. Content that is not allowed
3.1 Unsafe instruction. Breath retention or hyperventilation practice without a clear safety warning, or with instructions to practise in or near water, while driving or standing; instruction to stop or change prescribed medication or treatment; promotion of self-harm, suicide or disordered eating.
3.2 Services that are not recorded content. Live sessions, one-to-one sessions, bookings, calls or personalised readings, predictions or spell-work sold to a buyer.
3.2a Divination and pseudo-science. Astrology, horoscopes, tarot, clairvoyance, fortune-telling, mediumship and other forms of divination, in any form, including courses or classes that teach them.
3.3 Substances and supplements. Content involving, promoting or instructing on psychoactive substances (including ayahuasca, psilocybin, DMT, 5-MeO-DMT, kambo, iboga, peyote, San Pedro, microdosing) or ceremonies built around them; recommending or selling supplements, nutraceuticals or medicines.
3.3a Diet, weight-loss, nutrition and muscle-building advice. Content that gives or sells advice on dieting, losing weight, calorie intake, nutrition, detox or building muscle, including meal plans, calorie targets and weight-loss or body-transformation programmes. Movement and breathing classes may be offered for general wellbeing, but they must not be presented as a way to lose weight or build muscle.
3.4 Illegal and harmful content. Content that is illegal under any law that applies to us, to the Creator or to the Buyer, including EU and Member State law; child sexual abuse material or any sexualised content involving minors; sexually explicit content; hate speech, harassment, threats or incitement to violence; terrorist content; content infringing copyright, trade marks or other rights (including music you have no licence for and other teachers' material); personal data of others published without a lawful basis.
3.5 Deception and abuse. Fraud, pyramid or multi-level marketing schemes, misleading pricing, fake reviews, impersonation, spam, and any attempt to take payment outside the Platform for a Product sold on it.
3.6 Minors. Accounts are for adults aged 18 or over. Content directed at children must be age-appropriate and requires our prior written agreement.
3.7 Payment provider rules. Products must also comply with Stripe's list of restricted and prohibited businesses (stripe.com/legal/restricted-businesses) and with the Stripe agreements each Creator accepts (Terms Part C §C3.1). Where Stripe does not allow a Product, it cannot be sold on Aikaya.
4. Words we check before publication
4.1 Titles and descriptions are checked automatically before publication. Some words block publication until changed (for example cure, diagnose, clinically proven, guaranteed results, therapist, live session, 1:1, diet, weight loss, lose weight, fat loss, calorie, muscle building, detox, supplement). Others are sent to a person for review (for example treat, heal, trauma, anxiety, insomnia, pregnancy). When a word is flagged, the studio tells you which word and why.
4.2 After upload, machine transcripts of Content are checked in the same way and flagged for human review. No Content is removed by automated means alone.
4.3 Health-related classes. A title or description may name a health state or condition the class is designed for (for example pregnancy, back pain, sleep), as long as it makes none of the claims in section 2 and the class stays general practice rather than treatment. Such titles are published and then reviewed by a person.
5. What happens if a rule is broken
| Situation | Usual first measure | Buyer access |
|---|---|---|
| Prohibited claim in title, description or sales page | Listing unpublished until corrected; no new sales | Unchanged |
| Prohibited claim or unsafe instruction inside the video | Access to that class disabled until re-recorded or cut | Suspended; Terms §B7.3 applies |
| Illegal content or immediate risk to safety | Disabled the same day; authorities informed where required | Removed |
| Repeated or serious breach | Account suspended or closed | As Terms §B7 |
5.1 Every measure comes with a statement of reasons (Terms Part A §5.5) and may be reviewed on request (§5.6).
5.2 Response targets (not contractual): acknowledgement of a report immediately; first assessment within 1 business day; decision within 3 business days; safety cases the same day. When the operator is away, a notice on the report page says so, and the target for a decision becomes 7 days; reports concerning child sexual abuse material or an immediate risk to safety are still handled the same day wherever possible.
6. Repeat infringers
6.1 We close the accounts of Users who repeatedly infringe copyright or other rights. Three substantiated infringement notices within 12 months will normally lead to closure.
7. Changes to this Policy
7.1 We may update this Policy under Terms Part A §8. Additions needed to address newly identified illegal or harmful content may take effect immediately (§8.4).
