One class view is one person watching 20 minutes, and your allowance starts again every month — on yearly plans too.

These counts assume heavier video than most teachers upload. Calm, still footage is about a third of the size, so most teachers get two to three times these numbers. Your studio shows the figure measured from your own videos.

Buy extra traffic and Stage 3 ends the moment payment goes through. Whatever you don’t use carries over — it never expires.

On Free there’s no Stage 2: free watching stops at ≈160 class views and resumes on the first of the month.

Nothing is deleted, nothing is cancelled, and your account is not affected.

We never charge more because you have more students.

Most platforms in this category charge you per subscriber, cap your email list, or cap how many students can be active at once. Your bill grows as your audience does — the thing you have been working for becomes the thing that costs you.

We charge for storing and streaming video, because that is what actually costs us money. Your five hundredth student costs you nothing. Your five thousandth costs you nothing. There is no line in our pricing that counts people.

We don’t say “unlimited.” Here’s the actual number.

Studio includes more than 33,000 complete class views a month. If you ever get near it we will tell you. There is no surprise bill: extra traffic is something you buy up front, never something we charge afterwards. Platforms that promise unlimited have a fair-use clause instead of a number, and you find out where the line is when you cross it.

The more you earn, the cheaper we get.

Pro is $49.00 a month whatever you sell. At $1,000 of sales a month that is 4.9% of what you earned. At $3,000 it is 1.6%. At $10,000 it is 0.5%. A platform that takes a percentage charges you more every time you have a better month. We charge you the same.

Teaching with others?

Studio gives you 5 team members with proper roles. Teachers upload and publish their own classes; a manager sees everything; whoever handles the books sees the numbers and nothing else. Only the owner touches pricing, refunds and the mailing list.

Roles are what you are paying for, not seats.

When you outgrow us

We are sorry to see you go. Here is what happens.

Tell us what you were missing at hello@aikaya.net. We may already be building it.
Your videos stay yours. We only host them; keep your original files.
Your buyers keep access for at least 12 months from purchase. That is our promise to them.
We email your buyers to tell them you have left and that their library still plays.
Your shop stops taking new sales.

Common questions

Is the free plan a trial?

No. It’s free for as long as you want, with no card and no countdown. You can build an audience on it indefinitely.

Can I sell on the free plan?

Yes — up to $200 in total. Not $200 a month: that much ever. It is enough to find out whether people will pay for what you teach. After that, selling costs $19.00 a month and we still take nothing. You will need to connect a payment account first — the same identity check anyone taking card payments goes through. We ask for it at the moment you set a price, not before. Giving classes away for an email address never needs it.

What counts toward the cap?

What your customers paid, before refunds and before the payment provider’s fee. The sale that takes you over the line still goes through — we would never stop a payment halfway. After it, new sales pause until you pick a plan. Anyone already in one of your memberships keeps it, and everyone who has bought from you keeps what they bought. Always.

What happens if I stop paying?

You drop to Free. Everyone who already bought from you keeps their access — we’d never break a customer’s purchase because you paused your plan. If you’re over the free limits we’ll give you 30 days and clear instructions.

Can people share my videos?

Sharing a link doesn’t work — links expire after 10 minutes. Your viewer’s email address is also shown faintly over the video while it plays, which stops most of the sharing that does happen. To be straight with you: nothing on the internet can stop someone recording their own screen. What we can do is make casual sharing pointless, and we do.

How long do my buyers keep access?

As long as you keep the content here, and at least 12 months from purchase. If you leave, they’re still covered for that year.

Can I move my videos elsewhere later?

Yes. They’re yours — we only host them, and we don’t hold your work hostage. Keep your original files.

What if nobody watches for a while?

Nothing happens while you’re paying. On the free plan, if you haven’t logged in for a year and have never sold anything, we’ll email you twice with a download link before removing files. We never delete something a customer has paid for.

Is this suitable for breathwork or yoga?

That’s who we built it for. Which also means you’re responsible for what you teach — we ask every creator to include a health disclaimer, and we’ll help you write one.

What's a programme?

A course that opens a little at a time. You decide the pace — one practice a day for thirty days, or one a week for eight weeks — and it counts from the day each student starts, not from a date in the calendar. Nobody waits for the next intake. And it never expires: once a day has opened, it stays open for as long as they have access.

What's a membership?

Instead of buying one class, a student pays you every month and gets everything you teach. We take no share of it, the same as everything else, and the payment provider’s fee applies. They can cancel themselves whenever they like, and we remind them before each renewal — both of which keep your card disputes down.

Do you count my students?

No. There is no line anywhere in our pricing that counts people, and there never will be. We charge for storing and streaming video. Your five hundredth student costs you nothing.

Is there a limit on captioning?

We caption up to 200 hours of new video a month on Studio. If you upload more than that — moving a big library across, usually — the extra starts captioning on the first of the month. Your videos play normally the whole time.

Which one am I?
